Kim Kardashian was met with a hostile reception when she appeared at Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady, with the crowd loudly booing her when she attempted to take the stage to poke fun at Brady. The edited version of the roast, however, cuts out all of this negativity and only includes Kardashian’s jokes. The live stream had to be interrupted by host Kevin Hart due to the amount of vitriol directed at Kardashian, but this has been removed from the edited version on Netflix.

In her set, Kardashian took aim at host Kevin Hart, joking about his height and calling him mean, as well as making a controversial joke about his endowment. She also joked about rumors of a past romantic relationship with Brady, saying she was not there as his date but there was still a chance she might be. She even compared Brady to her former stepfather, Caitlyn Jenner, highlighting their similarities and implying that a relationship would not work out between them.

Kardashian continued by praising Caitlyn Jenner’s transition and suggesting Brady could learn from her example in his post-NFL life. She made jokes about possible career paths for Brady, including becoming a commentator, a far right Republican, or even a strong, confident woman. The crowd began to warm up to Kardashian as she delivered her set, even though she faced a tough start with the audience.

Towards the end of her set, Kardashian made a reference to her family’s connection to O.J. Simpson, joking about her late father’s defense of Simpson in his infamous 1995 murder trial. Despite the controversial joke, the crowd started to support Kardashian by the end of her set. The edited version of the roast on Netflix only includes Kardashian’s jokes and removes the negative reception from the live stream. The Roast of Tom Brady is now available to stream on Netflix for viewers to watch.
