New York Police Department looks for suspects involved in failed cash-for-cryptocurrency transaction

However, when he met the stranger who was supposed to facilitate the exchange, he was shoved into a room on the third floor where two other unknown men were waiting. The victim was punched, tied up with tape, and $20,000 in cash was stolen from him before the suspects fled.

The three suspects are described as being between 18 and 22 years old, between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 with slim builds and black hair. The first suspect was last seen wearing a blue baseball cap, black bubble jacket, black pants, and black and white sneakers. The second suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, eyeglasses, and black and white sneakers. The third suspect was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black pants, black sunglasses, and black and white sneakers. The NYPD is seeking any information related to the incident and encourages the public to contact the Crime Stoppers Hotline if they have any information.
