Taylor Swift is set to add songs from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department, to her ongoing Eras Tour. This was confirmed by Arnaud Meersseman, Swift’s French tour promoter, who mentioned that the singer will have a “slightly modified show” for the upcoming dates. The tour kicks off in Paris, where Swift will perform new pieces from her album, marking her return to the stage since wrapping up her Singapore shows in March.

Meersseman humorously referenced the massive fan base of Swift, known as Swifties, and expressed his hope that they don’t “crack” the arena during the show, considering over 250,000 tickets have been sold for the Paris and Lyon shows. He also discussed the phenomenon of Swift’s increasing popularity, attributing it to her ability to combine music, media presence, and the political side. Despite the intense preparation for Swift’s shows, Meersseman assured that they are ready for the upcoming performances.

Fans had started speculating about Swift adding TTPD songs to her Eras Tour setlist after the album’s release on April 19. Swift teased tour preparation in a black-and-white video shared on social media on April 25, showing her rehearsing with her dancers and featuring what appeared to be the TTPD logo on stage. The video also showed Swift wearing black lace-up heels, similar to what she wore in the music video for “Fortnight,” the lead single from TTPD.

Apart from the new songs, fans are also curious about whether NFL star Travis Kelce will join Swift on tour once again. Kelce has been supporting his girlfriend at various shows around the world, and the couple made their relationship public in September 2023. Most recently, Kelce accompanied Swift to Singapore in March before they returned to Los Angeles together. Sources revealed that the couple is focusing on relaxation and spending quality time at home during Swift’s break from tour and Kelce’s NFL break.

By the end of 2024, Swift will have performed a total of 152 shows in 54 cities worldwide as part of the Eras Tour. With the addition of TTPD songs to her setlist, fans can expect a unique and exciting experience at the upcoming shows. The anticipation for Swift’s return to the stage is high, and her ability to connect with fans through her music and performances continues to solidify her status as one of the biggest stars in the music industry.
